Summer Jazz Intensive

An All-Star Summer Experience!

Beginning June 22, 2026, the Summer Jazz Intensive is a week-long program where members of our Regional All-Star Band will meet for daily rehearsals and have one workshop per day to sharpen their skills. Then on Thursday, June 25, 2026, the ensemble will cap off the week with a performance at the Community Concert.

Monterey Jazz’s Summer Jazz Intensive will take place at York School in 2026! York School is an award-winning, co-ed, college preparatory high school for grades 8-12, located in Monterey.

My son just finished the Summer Jazz Camp, and he is so excited to continue learning and playing with the Monterey Jazz team. He would really like to try out to be in the All-Star Ensemble.
