Jazz Uplifts! is an in-school program that provides students in grades 3-6 with opportunities to explore music learning through educational jazz concerts and workshops.
2026 Jazz Uplifts! proudly presents Corbin Jones Ensemble in a series of free concerts across Monterey County in October 2026.
Corbin Jones made a name for himself performing with such artists as Beyoncé, Leon Bridges, and his own 22-piece Corbin Jones Big Band. He’s been seen on stage at Newport Jazz Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Series, laying down grooves across a range of bass clef instruments, including the tuba and upright bass.
2026 Jazz Uplifts! Concert Details: Three 1-hour concerts at three different locations:
• 10am on Tuesday, October 20 at Fairview Elementary’s Multi Use Room, Monterey
• 10am on Wednesday, October 21 at Sherwood Hall, Salinas
• 10am on Thursday, October 22 in Soledad (location details to be announced later)
