The Monterey Jazz Regional All-Stars bring the next generation of jazz to venues across the Monterey Peninsula this spring and summer. Featuring outstanding student musicians from Monterey Jazz’s nationally recognized education programs, these performances showcase rising artists in an intimate community setting. From wineries and hotels to community events and local stages, come join us!

Every year, Monterey Jazz invites approximately 600 local students and community members to “Concert on the Lawn” on Thursday before the festival weekend. This free community concert showcases performances by newly selected members of Next Generation Jazz Orchestra and Next Generation Women in Jazz Combo.
